Karate Kid goes 2010
Director Harald Zwart did a wonderful job making sure the storyline was not only relevant to modern youths; but exciting as well. It was a wonderful choice to stray from original storyline and introduce us to new characters in similar situations. I love that there was no comparison, therefore no competition. Jaden Smith proves his 'acting chops' and can certainly hold his own on screen with Jackie Chan. Chan delivered a great performance and made me believe he was a 'social outcast' which I was critical about before viewing, he is so likable.
